Privacy policy

This policy covers animastic.com, the company site. Gistly, our product at gistly.si, holds accounts, payments and usage data and has its own privacy policy there. Work we do for clients is governed by the agreement with that client.
What this site collects
When you book a call or write to us through this site, we receive what you type: your name, email address, company and message, the day and time you chose, and the time zone your browser reports, so we can read the time correctly. Our servers also keep short-lived technical logs (your IP address, the pages requested and the browser used) to keep the site reliable and secure. This site sets no advertising trackers and no third-party analytics cookies. The only thing it stores in your browser is your choice of light or dark theme, which never leaves your device.
What we use it for
To reply to you, to prepare the call you booked, and to keep a record of our correspondence while we work together. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use what you send us to train any model, ours or anyone else's.
AI in our products and our work
We build AI systems. Where one of our products or a system we build for a client uses a model, it reads only the data the task needs and runs within the account it belongs to wherever possible. It logs what it did and why, and it never contributes your data to the training of public models. Those commitments are written into each product's own policy and each client agreement; this site itself runs no AI on your data.
Who sees it
The people at Animastic who handle your request, and the providers that host this site, serve it and deliver our email, each acting on our instructions under their own data-processing terms. A booking is delivered to the inbox we use for that purpose and nowhere else, and you receive a confirmation by email with a calendar file. This site and its email are operated from the United States; if you write to us from elsewhere, your data is processed in the United States.
How long we keep it
Messages and bookings are kept while our conversation is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records, then deleted. Technical logs are kept for a short, fixed period. Ask us to delete what we hold about you at any time and we will, unless a legal obligation requires us to keep it.
Your rights
You may ask what personal data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, object to how it is used, or ask for a copy. Write to the address below; we answer within a month. If you believe we have mishandled your data, you may also complain to the data-protection authority where you live.
Changes
When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes to how we treat data you have already given us will be announced on this page before they take effect.
