An AI and software company
that runs what it builds.
Animastic is an AI and software company. We design, build and run software, both products of our own and systems for other companies, with one team, one standard and one stack.
Engineers and product people who build software and operate it in production.
We work in two directions at once. We own and operate our own products, and we build systems for other companies. The two keep each other honest: running a product teaches what survives contact with users, and client work keeps us close to the problems businesses actually have.
AI systems that are grounded and metered, the software a business runs on, the automation between its tools, and the search and data underneath.
Agents and assistants with a budget and a log. Platforms, portals and APIs built to be owned by the team that inherits them. Integrations that remove the copy-and-paste between systems. Search and pipelines that give people, and models, a source they can check.
Software should be correct, fast, documented and boring to operate. AI should be grounded, metered and honest about what it does not know.
Those two sentences decide most of our choices: a contract before a feature, a test before a demo, a receipt with every AI call, a person in the loop wherever being wrong is expensive, and documentation written for the team that inherits the system.
Companies that need a system to exist, to work, and to keep working after we leave.
Founders with a product to build, operations teams buried in manual work, and product teams adding AI to a product that already has users. We take on few engagements at a time and run each with a fixed scope, a weekly demo on real data, and a handover your own people can run.
TypeScript and Next.js for the web, Python or Node for services, PostgreSQL for data, Playwright for the browser, Stripe for payments. We keep the stack small and know it deeply.
It is the stack our own products run on in production, which is the only reason we trust it for yours.
Four words we
hold ourselves to.
An answer cites its sources. A number links to its row. A decision has a reason in the log.
If it costs money, the response says how much. If it can be cheaper, there is a dial.
The code, the docs and the deploy are yours. We build for the day you no longer need us.
Fixed scope, a demo every week, and decisions written down before they are acted on. Software that runs without needing attention.
Tell us what you are building.
A thirty-minute call about the product or the process you have in mind. We come back with our view of what it would take, and where we would start.
Book a callWe run what we build, and we build for others the same way.
